Modern society normalizes behaviors and thoughts that feed lust. Movies, music, social media, and even everyday conversations often treat this sin as natural or even desirable. But for Christians, God’s Word is clear: we are called to live in holiness (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).

Overcoming lust requires constant vigilance. It is also important to seek Christian accountability. Sharing our struggles with a trusted brother or sister in Christ — someone who can pray for us and exhort us — is a biblical strategy for maintaining purity.
